Still Learning, Still Growing

Grow through what you go through.

Grow through what you go through.

Grow through what you go through.

One for the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit!

Hello there my loves! I missed you all dearly last week, so I was sure to jump start the last of September with you all. We are literally three months away from this year being over, MY GOD! Time has truly flown and I am looking forward to closing 2020 and buckling up for the new ride in 2021!

During my reflection time with God, the Lord continuously dropped in my spirit, grow through what you go through. If you read my blogs often, then you know I'm always like, huh God? LOL In instant I begin to think on many situations I've personally faced in life. It was then he made it clear to me how easily it is for us take our life's challenges for granted.

At some point we've all made mistakes, but the beauty is in how we come out on the other side. If we sit in or wallow in our troubles we miss the opportunity to learn and grow from them. Bible scholars who are familiar with Old Testament know and understand that human race has been cursed from the beginning of time. We are sinful creatures that without Jesus Christ would have died as a consequence of our sins.

What exactly are you saying Rhonda Nikole? This week I am saying, look your challenges in the face and accept them. Learn from them, see the positive in whatever your current challenge is. The only way to grow through it, is to lean in and dissect what's happening. Don't settle for the surface of difficulty or hardship. Instead, write a gratitude list of positives that are being birthed through your challenges.

Learn more about yourself and how you handle what you're facing. Learn ways you could have responded or received the challenge differently. Compare the last time you were faced with a challenge to now. Can you identify growth? If not, list how you'd like to see yourself responding to future challenges.

Whatever you do, don't drown in the negative aspect of what's happening. Don't allow life's challenges to beat up on you and weigh you down. Soul search for as much positivity as you can in all that you face and remember that this too will pass.

During your alone time this week, meditate on this scripture and song.

P.S. this is one of my faves!

Romans 8:28 NLT " And we know that God causes EVERYTHING to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them."
