Self-doubt & Insecurity

Whaddup, FAM? I pray you are doing well and your week is off to a great start.

Ever had those moments when you feel like you're being called to something greater, only to be met with a flood of self-doubt and insecurity?

Yeah, you're not alone! It's like clockwork – just when we feel God calling us higher, feelings of inadequacy creep in, whispering lies about our abilities and worthiness. But here's the truth: as believers, we know that our confidence isn't rooted in our own strength or capabilities. No, our confidence comes from something far greater – it comes from Christ Jesus Himself.

In those moments of doubt, when we feel like we're not enough, we can turn to Him and find reassurance in His promises. In prayer, we can lay our insecurities at His feet, trusting that He will replace them with his peace and confidence.

We can remind ourselves of his words, that in our weakness, his strength is made perfect. And we can take comfort in the knowledge that he has called us for a purpose, equipping us with everything we need to fulfill it.

So, the next time those feelings of inadequacy come knocking, remember this: you are not defined by your shortcomings or limitations. You are defined by the love and grace of a God who sees you as his beloved child, fearfully and wonderfully made. And in him, you will always find the confidence to rise above your doubts and walk boldly in His purpose for your life.

Confidence x Tasha Cobbs Leonard

...I got so much faith in you, Lord I trust your words it's true. No matter the circumstance, my life is in your hands. I've got confidence, so much confidence, in you...

John 14:27 (NLT)

I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.

XOXO,

Rhonda Nikole
