Hey there! Cheers to blog 30! I'm still amazed at God's faithfulness and my ability to continue to inspire. When I started this journey 8 months ago, I had no idea what to do, how to do it or why God instructed me to blog. As time has passed, I continue to reflect over the last 29 blogs. I realized that every blog written to date was and is absolutely necessary. No one could have ever imagined living through a pandemic and all of the craziness happening in the world. Surely, I had no idea some of the very blogs written in the beginning would be the fuel, strength, and motivation I would need 8 months down the line. Funny how life works huh?
Over the last 8 months, we have discussed taking leaps of faith, obedience, self-care, favor, healing, growth, rest, identity, pursuit, tragedy, love, prayer, boundaries, strength, peace, and transparency. This week we are discussing self-investment. If you've been consistent in reading then give yourself a handclap for investing in yourself. The more we read, write, study, and grow the more we are creating a better us. I watched a video today on IG that said if your closet's value is more than your library then you're not investing enough in yourself. Where is the balance? Honestly, I wouldn't say I have a huge library of books, but I do have a few. I've read one or two books this year, but I am subscribed to quite a few blogs, vlogs, and podcast that I enjoy.
How have you managed to invest in yourself during 2020? Have you read any books or blogs that have inspired you to grow? Have you participated in any virtual conferences or listened to any Podcasts? Have you watched Youtube videos to expand your knowledge in any particular area in your life?
As we move into July, it is my personal goal to read one book a month. I'm not sure if this is a stretch, but I'm definitely going to give it a try. Feel free to share with me some of your favorites and I'll do the same.
Here are a few of my fav books:

It is my prayer that we will make intentional time to continue to invest in ourselves, not only as we continue through the pandemic, but through the remainder of the year, as well. After all, we are our biggest investment. Until next time.....
XOXOXO,
Rhonda Nikole

Amen! I used to read a lot more than I do now, but I definitely want to get more reads in. I’m going to check those two out. July was jammed pack and wasn’t able to read another book, but prayerfully August is much better. Thank you for your support. Know that I’m praying for God to lead you to the right books at the right time. Love you 🧡✨
This is certainly confirmation! I’ve been very interested in investing as it relates to finances and growing in my digital skills!
Also, a good book I’ve recently read is “Unexpected” by Christine Caine! Last year I read “Wholeness” by Toure Roberts last year and that was pretty good too! I mostly read inspirational books, I do want to push myself into more genres. I’m praying the Lord gives me some direction with that!
I totally agree! We are our biggest investment! Love you! Thank you for what you do!
