Goodbye 30, Hello 31 ! Happy Birthday to me!
Today, I have the privilege and honor to celebrate my 31st birthday! Some may consider this cliche, but when I think about the goodness of Jesus and ALL he has done for me, my soul cries HALLELUJAH! Over the last year, I've grown vigorously in every aspect of my life. Ya'll remember the "30 & Thriving" blog? Well, yea I spoke that growth into existence. LOL!
I mean, I experienced the shaking, the beating, and the pressing. BUT I also experienced healing, redemption, and restoration. What was once broken and dark, God made new and filled with light. What a mighty God we serve! I couldn’t have asked for a better year to say the least. Though filled with many challenges, 30 was by far the year I truly came to know Rhonda and who I am fully in Christ!
That alone is unmatched and priceless. Living in full permission and freedom, Friday, September 4, 2020 God birthed a thing in me.
Girl, Get Up Society!
- Girl, Get Up Society is a non-profit organization that aims to help women in coping with life’s problems and emotional upsets. Our mission is to improve the quality of life by inspiring women to get up, have hope, receive healing, find happiness, and conquer the world!
Girl, Get Up Society has two program initiatives:
1. Girl, Live - a program that aims to provide a monthly well-being self-care box of goodies.
2. Girl, Grow - a program that aims to provide financial resources for therapeutic services for women facing mental health challenges. Primarily, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, (PTSD), postpartum depression and suicide prevention.
