Count your Miracles

Rhonda Nikole

Happy Thanksgiving Week my friends!

This year I am most grateful for true happiness, peace and healthy community. Life be lifin', but with healthy community it makes life so much easier. I am beyond grateful for the family and friends who I am able to share life with. Healthy community share in your pains, encourage you in the midst of doubt, love you through your flaws and help you to live life out loud, unapologetically.

As we prepare for Thanksgiving in a few days, I want to challenge you to set aside a little time each day to participate in our Thanksgiving Challenge.

  1. Write a gratitude entry of a minimum of 24 non-tangible items you're thankful for.

  2. Send a hand written thank you note to a friend or family member in the mail.

  3. Share a family recipe online with your social media friends.

  4. Pay it forward in the drive thru by covering the meal for the car behind you.

  5. Share a photo online of healthy community you're most thankful for.

  6. Start a new Thanksgiving Family tradition in your home.

  7. Invite your children to help you in the kitchen or around the house in preparation for Thursday's festivities.

  8. Donate old clothes and shoes to a local shelter.

  9. Bring in a treat for your coworkers

  10. Send your siblings or parents a text about your favorite memories together.

  11. Volunteer to babysit for a friend.

  12. Take your neighbors trash bin to the road.

  13. Invite someone over for the holidays who may be alone.

  14. Go for a family walk and talk about your 2023 goals and aspirations.

  15. Meditate and pray for 15 mins prior to the start of your Thanksgiving day.

  16. Take a candlelight bath.

  17. Write a journal entry of 30 positive self-affirmations.

  18. Play board games with family and friends.

  19. Write out a list of personal boundaries that will help you be stress free this week.

  20. EAT, LAUGH, LOVE and create new MEMORIES!

I'd love to hear all about how amazing your Thanksgiving week will be in the comments. When you can, take a moment to share what you're able to accomplish this week. As you participate, take a moment to read and reflect on Ephesians 5:20 (NLT).

"And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Song: Million Little Miracles x Maverick City Music ft. Joe L. Barnes

...I've got some blessings that I don't deserve. I've got some scars, but that's how you learn. I think it over and it doesn't add up...I've got miracles on miracles, a million little miracles...count your miracles...

XOXO,

Rhonda Nikole
